Services offered to general, commercial & aerospace markets as follows:

  • Liquid Penetrant Inspection - Available in visible dye & fluorescent methods. Both are used in detection of cracking and corrosion in a wide range of materials. PI's are done in accordance with ASTM E165-95, MIL-STD-6866 or manufacturer's specifications.
  • Magnetic Particle Inspection - Used in the detection of cracking & other defects open to and below the surface of ferromagnetic parts and welds. Depending on the application, a wet stationary or portable, hand held unit will be used. MPI's are done in accordance with ASTM 1444-94, MIL-STD-6868 or manufacturerÕs specifications.
  • Eddy Current Inspection - Various types of inspections can be performed on a wide range of electrically conductive materials using eddy current. Some types of inspections include crack detection, tubing inspection and material sorting & thinning. ECI's are done in compliance with all manufacturer's specifications.
  • Ultrasonic Inspection - Capable of performing thickness measurements, flaw detection and shear wave weld inspection by utilizing an A-scan display. Provides a digital readout, which allows for precise thickness readings & flaw location information. UI's are performed in accordance with ASTM E587-94 or manufacturerÕs specifications.

  • A.D. 79-10-15 Cessna Series Aircraft: Eddy Current inspection; front wing spar cap.
  • A.D. 94-04-13 Twin Commander Aircraft: Fluorescent Penetrant inspection; lower front wing spar.
  • A.D. 96-19-05 Fairchild Aircraft: Ultrasonic inspection; nose & main landing gear yokes.
  • A.D. 95-12-01 Piper Aircraft: Ultrasonic & Visible Penetrant inspection; L, R forward spar fuselage attach fitting.
  • A.D. 84-13-05 Textron Lycoming Engines: Magnetic Particle inspection; crankshaft flange of acrobatic aircraft.
  • Learjet Inspections: Performed in full accordance with Learjet Nondestructive Testing Manual.
  • Beechcraft Inspections: Performed in accordance with Beechcraft Structural Inspection and Repair Manual. (Example: King Air wing attach fitting inspection.)

Terms:
  1. Terms are Net fifteen (15) days unless otherwise arranged.
  2. All rates are portal to portal
  3. Work in excess of eight (8) hours, Monday through Friday and all day Saturday are one and a half (1.5) times the normal rate.
  4. Work on Sunday and holidays are two (2) times normal rate.
  5. Work performed after midnight will be billed a minimum of eight (8) hours at holiday rates.
  6. Fees not listed for specialty jobs will be quoted on a case by case basis
  7. A minimum charge of one (1) hour for in-house work and a minimum charge of four (4) hours for work performed in the field.
